How can I become born again? How can I become born again? How can I become a Christian, you may ask? Oh, it is quite simple. The devil who is the father of lies, says that it is too easy, it won't work for you, so don't bother. Don't listen to him now, listen to your conscience, don't let your thoughts disturb you. Please listen, dear friend, you can receive Jesus right now by praying this prayer: "Dear Jesus, I thank you that you have paid the price for all sin with your precious blood. I thank you, that the Bible says in John 1:12 that all who receive you, you will give them the right/authority to become the children of God. I confess that I have sinned. Please forgive me and cleanse me with your blood. I receive you as my Saviour and Lord. I don't want to serve the devil any longer, but I want to give you my whole life. Amen." If you now have prayed this prayer from the bottom of your heart, then the Bible says that you are a child of God and I welcome you into this new family. The devil may say: "but you don't feel anything." The truth is that your salvation is not built on your feelings, but on the word of God. The word says, that when you have received Him, you are a child of God. Don't let the devil nor people talk you out of it, then you might loose it. Take good care of the word of God. You are now born again and your spirit is alive unto God. Now it is important that you keep on to your confession. Another word for being born again is to be converted, which means that you turn from your former life. The Holy Spirit has now moved into your spirit and he will help you to live a life pleasing Jesus, It doesn't matter what your emotions or thoughts are telling you, you are cleansed from all sin and made righteous unto God. 2 Cor. 5:17 says "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new." You might look into the mirror and recognize that you have the same haircolor, same bodyshape, yes, nothing seem to have changed. But this change doesn't happen on the outside at first. After a while you will start to experience this change, but first you need to know that what has changed or been transformed is your spirit. Your spirit is now alive unto God. You can now have fellowship with your Father God, who created you.
